So many of us have been broken by life circumstances that have left us scrambling to piece together the semblance of a normal life. Whether broken by the sudden death of a loved one, child abuse, rape, domestic violence, drug addiction, abandonment, divorce, or poverty – broken people carry with them the pain of their past into their future. Unfortunately, the adversity becomes a life defining characteristic for many, for few find the strength to move beyond their pain. Unfortunately, this brokenness single-handedly dictates the trajectory of some peoples lives – keeping them from soaring, reaching life goals, or having the powerful impact on life that God intended for them.
Has your vibrant and purposeful life been taken from you?
Do you exist day-to-day with no real direction for your future?
Do you even wonder why you are still here?
You must fight to reclaim your life – take back what was taken from you! Refuse to allow your pain to be your point of reference or define you! Instead, let your strength to fight, propel you to newness – new hope, new direction, and a new purpose! Reject the lie that you are broken beyond repair! I stand against this lie with you, and I want to empower you to break out of your brokenness.
A butterfly can only experience flight with new wings after it has broken through a cocoon. To emerge from the cocoon, the butterfly must say “NO” to the common lie, “This is all I was mean to be.” It agitates it surroundings, rejects the status quo, and fights to break free.
Allow me to join you in the fight to break free and reclaim your life. What I can offer to help you is two-fold:
First, I too have been impacted by the issues of life, but by the grace of God, I have always endeavored to look beyond my pain to see the silver lining or the deeper meaning. This is probably why I became a clinical psychologist, with over a decade of experience in walking with people just like you. My professional training lends to expertise rooted in cognitive behavioral interventions, with an emphasis on training people to shift their thinking and engage in new behavioral patterns, which results in an improved quality of life.
Secondly, I bring the spiritual to bear in helping people to be whole again. I believe authentic healing comes only from the Father, thus my practical tools, coping skills, and life-strategy skills, represent a merge between psychology and spirituality.
I offer a dynamic approach to healing for the brokenhearted.
