I happen to also be a clinical psychologist, who uses my training and expertise to help people grow more deeply connected to God.
I have a passion for serving those spiritually and emotionally broken. One of my greatest joys is helping to restore hope, joy, love, faith, and peace in others.
I am a blogger, radio show personality, and a writer of psycho/spiritual self-help books. I am also a public speaker/teacher and therapist for over 10 years.
I cherish spending time with my family, I enjoy Zumba, and I love gourmet cupcakes!
I have been married to Ves Tetterton for 14 years. We have two young children, Imani and Isaiah. I also have a step-daughter, Alexis. We reside in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Dr. Veronica Tetterton is a licensed clinical psychologist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2000. She obtained a Master’s degree in Research Psychology, graduating with honors from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2002. In 2006, she received a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alabama.
For nearly nine years, she was employed by the federal government, where she specialized in the full spectrum of mental health conditions including the treatment of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression and substance abuse. Currently, Dr. Tetterton is self-employed and owner of Veronica Tetterton, Ph.D. PLLC, a psychological services company.
Dr. Tetterton is driven to inspire people toward self-improvement, empowerment, and well-being. Using her gift of motivation, Dr. Tetterton encourages people crushed by the adversities of life, to fight to reclaim their life, cultivate faith, and pursue their destiny.
